The Verified Method

BUSINESS ORGANIZATION · CUSTOM AI IMPLEMENTATION

YOUR BUSINESS.
YOUR PEOPLE.
AI TAILORED
TO FIT.

You’ve seen what AI can do. Now make it work for the way your business actually runs.

The Verified Method makes the knowledge behind your business part of how the business operates. We uncover what owners and employees understand, connect that knowledge to the information and responsibilities around it, and design workflows that people and AI can carry forward together. Your experience becomes something the business can build on.

UNDERSTAND → DESIGN → BUILD → REFINEStart with a conversation. No software specification required.

THE TOOLS ARE THERE.
THE WORK STILL
GETS STUCK.

Emails wait. Details get lost between people. The owner is still the answer to every question. Another application becomes another place to check.

If your AI experiment or software rollout hasn’t changed that, the next step is to understand the work behind it.

“The message was there. The next step wasn’t.”

An important email reaches the inbox, but the right person never gets a clear action. The customer follows up before the team does.

FIRST, UNDERSTAND
Which messages matter, who owns the response, what needs approval, and where the outcome is recorded.
THEN, DESIGN THE FIT
A tailored workflow could identify relevant messages, prepare a summary or draft, route it to a named reviewer, and surface overdue follow-ups.
  1. 01Relevant message
  2. 02Proposed action
  3. 03Human review
  4. 04Recorded follow-up

How we would check it: Test missed and incorrect flags, ownership, response timing, and the team’s actual workload.

Illustrative possibilities, not promises of an existing integration or a guaranteed result. Scope and feasibility are determined with your business.

LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR WORKFLOW ↗

DIFFERENT BUSINESSES.
THE SAME NEED TO BRING
PEOPLE AND WORK TOGETHER.

Wherever people, information, and responsibilities meet, there is work worth understanding. We apply the same discovery discipline across businesses, then design around the particular team, systems, customers, and requirements.

  • Event planning businesses
  • Automotive service businesses
  • Retailers, distributors & logistics teams

Customer communication, operational checklists, information flow, and follow-through.

Examples of businesses that may benefit from this approach—not a client list or a claim of completed work in every industry. Feasibility, system access, and industry-specific requirements are assessed individually. In regulated settings, the focus is on business operations and authorized administrative workflows; professional decisions remain with qualified people.

DON’T SEE YOUR BUSINESS? LET’S TALK ↗

MEASURE FIRST.
THEN MAKE
THE SUIT.

A tailor begins with the person who will wear it: how they move, what they need, and what a good fit feels like. We bring that same attention to your business.

THE HUMAN FACTOR

Your people help shape the system.

We listen to the people doing the work. Their experience reveals the exceptions, workarounds, and practical needs a feature list can miss.

THE RIGHT COMPONENTS

Good tools. A deliberate design.

We examine the tools you already use. Keep what works, connect what is feasible, and build what the agreed solution needs. The recommendation follows the business. We aim to work with familiar systems where they fit, with focused training for any changes your team needs.

A USEFUL RESULT

Define the improvement. Check the fit.

Agree what should improve, test real tasks, and learn from the people using the system. More automation is useful when it creates a better way to work.

WE KNOW THE PROCESS.
WE LEARN
YOUR BUSINESS.

The Method provides structure for discovering, designing, building, and improving. Your business supplies the context that makes each implementation its own.

01THEORYUnderstand what matters.

Understand what matters.

Start with your goals, your strengths, and the work that needs attention. Agree what a worthwhile improvement would mean.

02DESIGNLearn how the business really works.

Learn how the business really works.

Listen to owners and employees, examine authorized records, and map the responsibilities, decisions, and exceptions behind the work.

03ARCHITECTURECreate the tailored blueprint.

Create the tailored blueprint.

Define how people, information, tools, permissions, and human review should fit together, with priorities and a practical implementation plan.

04IMPLEMENTATIONBuild it with your people.

Build it with your people.

Under a separately agreed scope, configure, connect, or build the approved solution. Test real tasks, train the team, and adjust before expanding.

05EVOLUTIONKeep improving the fit.

Keep improving the fit.

With an agreed support plan, review results and adapt as your people, business, and available technology change.

FEWER LOOSE ENDS.
CLEARER RESPONSIBILITIES.
MORE ROOM FOR YOUR PEOPLE.

Assistance that understands the task.

Commands and guidance designed around your vocabulary, approved information, and actual responsibilities, with the right context for the work.

Attention where it is needed.

Checks and notifications designed around defined requirements, responsible people, and exception handling—so the team knows what needs review.

Capabilities your team can use.

Practical training, clear operating guidance, and feedback from real use. We aim to enhance the people in the business, not lose their judgment in the technology.

These are design goals, not guaranteed results. We establish what can be tested and measured in your particular engagement.

YOUR BUSINESS
WILL CHANGE.
SO WILL AI.

Build with a path to what comes next.

A useful system needs more than a launch date. It needs a way to review performance, learn from your team, and consider new capabilities as they become relevant.

We plan for that evolution. The review cadence, support, and changes we undertake are agreed in your engagement, so the next step has a purpose and an owner.

DISCUSS YOUR NEXT STEP ↗

YOU DON’T NEED
ANOTHER AI PITCH.
YOU NEED A PLAN.

This is for owners and leaders ready to invest time and attention in understanding how their business works—and in helping their people use a better system.

Whether you run a construction business, a dental practice, or another service organization, we begin with your context. Industry requirements, access, and feasibility are part of discovery.

Steve Lugo, creator of the Verified Method, leads the work with a practical focus on business organization, human judgment, and implementation. If Nick McCully introduced you, select his name when requesting a conversation so we can connect your inquiry with that introduction.

GOOD QUESTIONS.
CLEAR ANSWERS.

Do we need to know which AI tool we want?

No. Begin with what is difficult, what already works, and what you want to improve. Technology selection follows that understanding.

We already bought software. Can you work with it?

We start by examining what you have and how it is used. The answer may be better organization, configuration, training, a supported integration, or a different approach. We verify access and feasibility before promising compatibility.

Does custom mean everything is built from scratch?

No. Proven tools can be excellent components. The customization is in the design: how those components fit your responsibilities, information, people, and goals. We propose new development where the situation calls for it.

What happens in the first conversation?

We discuss your goals, where work gets difficult, and whether a deeper Spotlight engagement makes sense. You do not need a finished specification. We explain recording, permissions, and information use before beginning the guided discovery work.

What do we receive from a Spotlight?

Spotlight is a separately priced, standalone discovery engagement. We agree the areas to explore and the work included before the meeting. It helps us understand your needs and decide what should happen next. Design, architecture, implementation, and any written deliverables are defined in the agreed scope; there is no obligation to continue.

Are implementation and ongoing support included?

They are scoped separately. You can implement the blueprint with your own team, another qualified provider, or ask us for an implementation proposal. Evolution and continued support are agreed for your particular needs.

Can you guarantee that nothing will ever get missed?

No. We design checks, ownership, notifications, and review around defined requirements, then test them. Reliability comes from checking results and handling exceptions, not promising that technology will never make a mistake.

How are fees and timing determined?

Each engagement is scoped individually. We agree the business areas, deliverables, responsibilities, fee, schedule, and any travel before paid work begins. The consultation request does not start a paid engagement.
